WVU Tech Kids Corner & Cub Club 
Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony


We had sooooo much fun starting our day with West Virginia University Institute of Technology as they announced the opening of Monty’s Cub Club and the Kids Corner.

We appreciate support for this project from PCBActive Southern West VirginiaChick-fil-A Beckley GalleriaChick-fil-A Harper Road in creating this great space for area youth “cubs” to use when they visit WVUTech.

There’s a new way for kids to show their Golden Bear spirit with Monty’s Cub Club – and you’re invited to check it out !

The Kids Corner is a project created by the Library team and funded through the Transformation Grant process to establish a study area for youth visiting campus with their families.

(Cub Club membership is not required to use the Kids Corner, but we would love to welcome any Cub who would wish to join the club!) Monty’s Cub Club is a program for youth 16 and younger. Cubs who join will receive official club membership cards with special opportunities at Homecoming and other events.

Also, thanks to the Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce and Active Southern West Virginia for their collaboration.
