Help us Welcome our next Beckley Remote Worker to our Community

As collaborative partners, the Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Beckley are excited to announce the arrival of Beckley’s 5th Remote Worker, Rebecca Benjamin.

“We are thrilled to recruit young talent that has an interest in living in our small-town outdoor community! Beckley has an abundance of recreational opportunities for multiple user groups and we’re excited to use these assets to attract outdoor-minded folks to our town”, says Corey Lilly, Director of Outdoor Economic Development for the City of Beckley.

Since March of 2020, the number of remote workers has skyrocketed creating an opportunity for communities to recruit these individuals to live and contribute in their community.  Remote workers bring their jobs with them not only adding a person to the population but also adding a job to the overall job base. “Our Beckley Remote program has been up and running for over a year and we’ve found it to be a successful way to bring new talent to the region”, says Michelle Rotellini, President / CEO of the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce.

Please join us to welcome Rebecca to our great city Beckley WV.
