Grand Opening & Open House at The Oaks at FMRS Health Systems

Thank you to the staff of The Oaks at FMRS for inviting us to be a part of your special day of opening your new substance use residence treatment facility. The services provided at the new facility are crucial in helping people who are struggling with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental and physical health disorders in our community.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

FMRS Health Systems, Inc. is delighted to welcome you to visit our newest substance use residential treatment facility.

The Oaks at FMRS will provide both residential treatment for men with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders as well as medically monitored inpatient withdrawal management for men and women. The Oaks will serve 12 men in the residential treatment program and 8 co-ed residents in the withdrawal management program.

The newly renovated center is at 306 Withrow Loop, Beckley; on the Jackie Withrow Hospital campus.

This opportunity to provide quality treatment for people who are struggling with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental and physical health disorders has been made possible by the WV DHHR and the Ryan Brown Addiction Prevention and Recovery Fund.

FMRS has a long history of serving our community by providing behavioral health treatment in various settings. We do not often have the occasion to share our work with the public, hence we are enthusiastic to host the community at the center on this day. We hope that you will come to tour, meet our staff, and learn more about the evidence-based treatment services we will be providing. FMRS is dedicated to providing access to trauma informed care that addresses the needs of the whole person; ensuring that help today leads to a better tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Randall R. Venable
Chief Executive Office
