The Appalachian Festival Committee consists of one representative from each Appalachian Festival host. Each host acts as the administrator of their event, handles scheduling and serves as liaison between the host organizations. The Appalachian Festival showcases a week of several events throughout Beckley-Raleigh County culminating in the Appalachian Makers Market, the Festival’s signature event organized by the Chamber. Utilizing cross-promotion of our popular tourist areas and attractions helps draw visitors to Beckley-Raleigh County for multiple day, multiple location visits.
