Home Base Inc. Launches the Parenting & Behavior Support Center to Fill Critical Service Gaps for Raleigh County Families

Home Base Inc., a trusted Behavioral Health & Social Service Agency serving West Virginia children and families since 1999, is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in its mission to support local communities. The organization is launching a new brand, the Parenting & Behavior Support Center, designed to expand access to behavioral health services for walk-in clients and non-referral patients, ensuring children, parents, and communities receive the unbiased care they need. This initiative reaffirms Home Base Inc.’s dedication to helping families and keeping children in their homes while effectively addressing their behavioral health needs.

The new initiative by Home Base Inc. aims to engage key community decision-makers, introduce the Parenting & Behavior Support Center, and highlight a wide range or low-cost and no-cost services. The agency plans to showcase these expanded services during an open house event at their new Raleigh office. Additionally, the initiative focuses on assisting families in navigating benefits to cover or offset the costs of behavioral health and residential treatment. Home Base Inc. aims to enable young people to become productive members of society by emphasizing the positive impact on youth mental health and overall well-being.

According to Damon Carter, the Executive Director of Hombase Inc., “Our goal is pretty simple. We want to keep more children in their homes and provide more parents with the support and resources that they need to succeed. This is our way of investing in the health and strength of our community.”

This initiative also lays the foundation for a statewide rollout, ensuring accessible services are available across all 14 Home Base Inc. locations in West Virginia.
