Beckley Concert Association’s 2017/2018 Season is Set

The last concert of the 2026/2017 season is Mountainside Baroque to be held this Sunday, April 9, 2017, at 3:30 pm in the Woodrow Wilson Auditorium.

Season tickets for the 2017/2018 will be on sale then. If you purchase your season ticket prior to August 1, 2017, you will be able to get the tickets prior to a price increase. This upcoming season will include an additional concert totaling six concerts in the season.

We’re looking forward to a great season and hope you will be able to join us.

Music from Mama Mia – ABBA Tribute Band Dancing Dream


This ABBA Tribute Band – Dancing Dream features beautiful harmonies, elaborate costumes and exciting choreography guaranteed to captivate all audiences making every show a night to remember. A very energetic and enthusiastic show brings back memories and smiles on everybody's face. The lead singers interact with the crowd and have people singing along to those always popular ABBA songs from Mama Mia.

Through-out its history, WV Dance Company has performed a unique repertory of modern works inspired by the diverse cultures and people of the world, including those from our home region of Appalachia. Akropolis Reed Quintet


The Akropolis Reed Quintet takes listeners on extraordinary musical adventures, performing an innovative repertoire with acclaimed precision featuring a variety of reed instruments. Akropolis was founded in 2009 at the University of Michigan. Their dynamic concerts feature accessible contemporary works framed by invigorating arrangements of classical music spanning four centuries.

Pianafiddle

Beginning only with a familiar tune, violinist/fiddler Adam DeGraff and pianist Randy Morris improvise as they go blending the traditional, the unwritten, and the spontaneous into a compelling performance that ranges literally from Bach to Bluegrass.  The duo continues to mystify audiences as they blur stylistic lines, transcend musical genres, and bring energy and a tasteful touch of humor to each performance.

Twin Kennedy


Twin Kennedy, identical twins from the West Coast of Canada, sisters Carli and Julie Kennedy have been making music together since they could talk. With years of classical training, the sisters have found their home in country music. With Carli on vocals and guitar, and Julie on vocals and violin, these petite powerhouses will fill your soul with joy and warmth through their seamless harmonies and heartfelt songwriting.

River City Brass Band Ensemble (8 musicians incl. conductor)


The River City Brass, a brass ensemble from Pittsburgh, PA, has one of the most active schedules among American touring ensembles, performing dozens of concerts on tour each year for community performing arts series, corporate events, major music festivals and more. The River City Brass’s unique repertoire, virtuoso musicians, and accessible performances make the ensemble an ideal choice featuring a variety of brass instruments.
