Support Our New Local Ronald McDonald House
“Help Make Ronald McDonald House a Home” Campaign Info Event
Wednesday, October 5
McDonald’s, Uptown Beckley – Prince Street
A new Ronald McDonald House is under construction in Charleston on the CAMC Women's and Children's Hospital campus and is on track to open September, 2016. The fund raising campaign is nearly complete; however, additional funds are needed for incidental items not covered in the fund raising budget. With your help, we can add those special touches that will provide a touch of warmth and comfort for the families of children seeking treatment at CAMC's Women and Children's Hospital and other medical facilities.
Last year, 227 children and families from Raleigh County received services at the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston. The services received in Charleston by these children and families are not provided by medical facilities in Raleigh County. For those that travel from afar, the Ronald McDonald House is a beacon of hope during a time of great stress.
We are not asking you to do a fund raising event, but to allow us to come and share the information with your club, organization or church group. A representative from the Ronald McDonald House will be at the meeting to tell you more about it. Also, someone will present this information to your group if you want to schedule this for one of your meetings.
It is very simple. All you will do is click on a link to the Housewarming Registry to choose which needed items to decide which ones your group or individuals would like to purchase for the house.
We look forward to seeing you on October 5, 2016 at 10:00 am at the McDonald's in uptown Beckley on Prince Street. We hope you are interested in "Helping us make the Ronald McDonald House a Home!!!"
